Hello my beloved bead friends!

I’m sorry to report that the Beyond Beadery Mail Order department is on an indefinite hiatus effective immediately.

Family health issues have made it too hard for me to give the proper attention that the business deserves, and I feel that doing a half-hearted job is worse than letting it go altogether - at least for a while. I will revisit this in a few months to make a permanent decision one way or another.

My days are filled with taking care of my beloved Mark, my 88 year-old Mom, running the business, taking care of the house, and lots and lots of doctor visits. 
Mark’s Parkinsonism and neurological issues have sapped his energy and made it hard for him to work the mail order department, and it’s far too much for me to do it myself, on top of the rest of my daily tasks.

For the time being, we will continue with our Bead Show schedule, thanks to my Dream Team of Beyond Beadettes - thank you Tiffany Nicole, Karley Brown, and Caryn Ashley! I couldn’t do it without you!
I also plan to pick up a few more Trunk Shows in the coming year.

Whereas I will be closing the Beyondbeadery.com website for now, I will still run occasional LIVE Facebook sales, and will give attention to my Facebook group “Beyond Beadery ... We put the ”fun” in Funky!”. ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/2696393337251810/?ref=bookmarks )
This is where I list random, mostly (but not exclusively) bead-and-jewelry-related stuff. Unique and one-off items, fun, sparkly things, and whatever strikes my fancy. As I find more time to devote to it, look for vintage Swarovski and beads, too!

For my local friends, we will continue our twice-yearly Open Houses (maybe we can even add a 3rd!) and occasional in-house classes.

I have been running Beyond Beadery for 33 years now, more than half my life, and I have no intention of leaving Planet Bead altogether. It’s just time to restructure the business and my life to ease into my retirement (hah!) years.

How fortunate I have been to have you all in my life!
