There is a $15.00 minimum for orders!

Payment Options
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. You can also pay for your order with PayPal, although at this time, I don't have a direct link to PayPal on my shopping cart. If you want to pay fro your order using PayPal, give me an e-mail and we'll work out the details!
Mail-in orders must be accompanied by payment in the form or a credit card, check, or money order. All International orders must be pre-paid by credit card!

Shipping Fees
We will charge you the amount it cost us to ship your package. There are no hidden "handling" fees. If your shipping amounts to less (or occasionally, more) than the amount on the Shopping Cart, you will be charged the correct amount.

All orders valued at over $100.00 will be insured!!

Extra heavy orders may be charged extra shipping, but the majority of orders end up costing less than the rates posted on the shopping cart. We overestimate for mail-orders, since it's hard to predict the weight of a package and zone it's going to! We will charge you the amount it costs us to ship your package. There are no hidden handling fees.

UPS or Post Office
There are advantages and disadvantages to both shipping options.
For packages weighing less than 1 pound, and valued at under $50.00, Priority Mail is an inexpensive and speedy option. However, when the weight and value rise, the cost escalates quite drastically! Additionally, the Post Office will not track a package until it's 30 days late (!!!!!).

If you are a RURAL area, UPS will add an additional $2.45 fee to your shipping charge. If you are unsure if UPS considers your area to be "rural", drop me an e-mail and I'll let you know! Please make sure you check one of the boxes to let us know your preferred shipper.

All orders going to Alaska or Hawaii will be sent via Priority Mail.


INTERNATIONAL ORDERS


PLEASE indicate on the "Comments" section of the order form which shipping method you want us to use!!
International shipping rates can vary drastically from inexpensive to very costly, so what may please one customer may not work for another. If you do not specify your preferred shipping method, your order will be delayed for a few days, as we will need to contact you for this information!
All International orders are shipped via the US Postal Service.

International Mail has undergone a huge makeover. The current set of eight International Mail classes will be consolidated into the following four classes:

Global Express Guaranteed
Express Mail International
Priority Mail International
(replaces Global Priority Mail, Global Air Parcel Post, and Economy Parcel Post)
First-Class Mail International (replaces Airmail Letter and Economy Letter)

The USPS also introduced a new flat rate box for Priority Mail International and a flat rate envelope for Express Mail International.

So - these changes have simplified shipping options; however, it comes at a price! Sadly, all International shipping rates seem to have risen substantially. While we used to be able to ship a small, light package for only $5.25, the least expensive option now starts at $11.00.
Please keep this in mind when placing your order!

Global Priority is inexpensive and fast; however, it is uninsurable and untrackable. We are real sticklers for insuring all packages leaving our warehouse! If you choose Global Priority, we must have written waiver of insurance (e-mail is fine) - that means YOU will take responsibility if the package arrives damaged, or doesn't arrive at all! We will, of course, provide proof of shipping.

All other packages are insured. This means if your package arrives damaged, or doesn't arrive within a reasonable amount of time, we will send a replacement package out immediately at no charge to you.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS - PLEASE indicate on your order form which method you'd like us to ship your package!

Mailing Lists:
We do not share your private information with anyone.
EVER.

Log-In Account:
If you choose to create a Log-In Account, your information (but NOT your credit card info!) will be saved so that you don't need to enter your name, billing address, shipping address, phone, blah, blah, blah every time you order. Your credit card information absolutely, positively will NOT be saved.

Additionally, you will have the option to be added to our E-Mail subscriber list. We occasionally - the key word here being "occasionally" - send out an e-mail with new product info, show schedules, and special sales or discounts available only to those on my subscriber list.

I promise you won't be inundated with gazillions of e-mails from me. My fantasy goal is once a month, but in all honesty, it's usually more like 5 or 6 times a year.

Overpayments & Credits
Occasionally, we won't be able to get an item back in stock. This is an unfortunate fact of life in the bead world - things come and go. If you have pre-paid by check or money order, you will be issued a Beyond Beadery credit slip.

Substitutes:
Don't worry - we will ONLY do this if we have a very close substitute - i.e. - an amethyst AB instead of a light amethyst AB, and only with your permission. We will never sub a peridot for a ruby, or a bracelet blank for an earwire, nor will we ever substitute any books or patterns!!

Backorders
Backorders over $5.00 will automatically be sent if the item arrives back in stock within 30 days. After that time, we will call you first to ensure that you still want the item. Your credit card will never be charged until the item is on it's way to you! There is never shipping fee charged on backorders.


Return Policy:

  • No returns on books, patterns, videos, or software!
  • No returns on special orders!
  • No returns on any beads whatsoever!
    (Nahhhh! . . . just kidding on that last one! But the first 2 are true.)
Actually, you can return most anything, aside from the afore-mentioned books, etc. Here's the scoop:

Returned items must be:
1 - in original packaging
2 - still be on the string
3 - in the full quantity ordered
4 - within 20 days of receiving shipment

We do not refund the return shipping fee unless there was a mistake on our part!

Please include:
1 - a copy of the invoice
2 - reason for return
3 - tell us what you would like us to do:
exchange?
credit to your Beyond Beadery account?
credit to your charge account?

20% restocking fee applies if:
1 - the items are not in their original packaging
2 - items are not still on the string
3 - less the original quantity received
4 - past the 20 day grace period
